Hydrogen Liquefaction Unit (HLU)

The main equipment of hydrogen liquefaction includes the compressor, oil removal system, 20K cold box, control box, and cryogenic components. Fullcryo has extensive experience in large-scale cryogenic system design and manufacturing.

Small and Medium HLU

Advantages of Liquid Hydrogen (LH2)

Economy

LH2 is about 800 times denser than gaseous hydrogen. This greatly improves storage capacity and reduces the cost of storage, transportation, and operation compared to compressed gas.

High Efficiency

Harmful impurities are solidified and removed during the liquefaction process. The purity level of hydrogen can reach 6-7N, which effectively improves the power and life of hydrogen fuel cells.

Security

The working pressure of liquid hydrogen storage and transportation is low (1-1.3 bar), which is safer than compressed gas hydrogen transportation systems.
